Raised on Rhode Island, Jamison Odone graduated from the Art Institute of Boston with a BFA, and an MFA from Western Connecticut State University. “I haven’t stopped drawing since I could pick up a pencil,” he told a reporter in 2010. His book, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland: Retold and Illustrated by Jamison Owen, which he wrote and illustrated, is the first in a series he call “Stick Figuratively Speaking” for PublishingWorks, an Exeter, New Hampshire, publisher. He and his wife, Erica, a gallery associate at the Silvermine Gallery in New Canaan, moved to Ridgefield in 2003.
