H. Steven Dashefsky is a professor at Norwalk Community College in Connecticut, where he has taught environmental science and business technologies for the past 14 years. He also taught biology at Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, Virginia and the Greenhill School in Dallas, Texas. He worked as an Environmental Protection Specialist at the Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. and spent many years in corporate technical training and support. Steven has over a dozen books published by Random House and McGraw-Hill that simplify science and technology for the layperson and student. He has degrees in biology and entomology.
