Award-winning author and journalist, Dan Briody is a native Ridgefielder. After college he moved to San Francisco and began his career working in public relations for Apple Computer and Sun Microsystems in Silicon Valley. In 2002, he became a reporter at InfoWorld, a technology journal in San Meteo, and Red Herring magazine. Two years later he left the magazine to become an author and returned to his home town. Currently he is a freelance writer and consultant. His freelance articles have appeared in Martha Stewart Living, Business Week, Fairfield Magazine and Ridgefield Magazine.
