Chris Belden was born in Canton, Ohio, and grew up listening to the LPs of his older brothers, everything from The Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel to the soundtracks to Gold Finger and The Magnificent Seven. A guitarist, drummer and song writer, in 1994 he released his first full-length album, “Songs About Anything.” He is the author of Squirt and co-writer (with David Henry) of the script for the 1996 feature film, “Amnesia,” starring Ally Sheedy. Belden has taught writing at Ridgefield Schools Continuing Education.
