Former Ridgefielder John Barricelli, owner of the Sono Baking Company in South Norwalk, graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1980. He has worked at the River Café, Le Bernardin, and the Four Seasons Restaurant in Manhattan, and in Ridgefield at The Elms Restaurant and Tavern. In 2003, a television version of the Martha Stewart Omnimedia magazine, Everyday Food, was being developed, featuring real people who worked as cooks for the company; John was one of five chosen for an ensemble cast. Everyday Food went into production, was sold to PBS, and can be seen in 80 percent of the television markets nationally. Currently he is the host of Everyday Baking From Everyday Food on PBS, and is a frequent contributor to The Martha Stewart Show. Martha Stewart wrote a forward to Barricelli’s book, The Sono Baking Company
